Understanding Saturation and Hue

  1. Select one landscape from your poster of 10 from last week.
  2. Open in Photoshop
  3. Go to Image, Adjustments, Hue/Saturation
  4. Pull sliders to adjust (Hue) color, (Saturation) how much color, (Lightness) how dark or bright the image is.
  5. Create a photoshopped, imaginary, otherworldly landscape.
  6. How might you work with color to create a mood?
  7. What symbolic meanings do we attach to color?
  8. Imaginary Landscapes due end of class on wednesday.
